The inventory contains ten phrase items for each of Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, and Intellect / Imagination. It is a broad-factor instrument, not a facet-level clinical assessment.
The existing Mini-IPIP 20 is faster. IPIP-50 samples each broad factor with ten rather than four items. The two instruments are separate scales and their raw values should not be treated as interchangeable.
Responses run from 1, Very Inaccurate, to 5, Very Accurate. Positive-keyed items retain the response; reverse-keyed items use 6 − response. Each factor reports a raw sum from 10–50 and its mean from 1.00–5.00. No norm table or AI interpretation is applied.
The complete vector is sent to the same-origin stateless scoring endpoint, validated, scored, and returned. It is not written to D1, an account, a friend challenge, a public cohort, or a model.
Raw means do not say whether a score is rare, desirable, permanent, authentic, or “accurate.” Self-report depends on language, context, reference group, response style, and the behavior sampled by these items.
